Our curriculum is precisely mapped, with key knowledge and musical vocabulary clearly identified to ensure a high standard of learning and achievement. At Emersons Green, we invite musical experts to teach classes during the year (ukulele, singing and samba drumming), ensuring a high standard of learning in music.
- At Emersons Green, we champion uniqueness in music by finding ways to showcase how all pupils can actively participate and make progress in music lessons. The music curriculum provides opportunities for children to listen to and appreciate music in diverse ways, ensuring that every child benefits from engaging with music. For children with a particular interest or skill in music, we offer extracurricular activities such as choir and recorder groups, as well as opportunities for group or individual lessons through the music hub.
